Cash-rich super PACs prolong flagging presidential campaigns
The AP reports Jeb Bush and other GOP hopefuls lean on super PACs to stay visible as campaigns cut spending and staff. Right to Rise has spent over 50 million while reserving 24 million more in ads across Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina. Kasich and Christie also rely on outside groups, with CMAG data showing most funding for their ads comes from PACs rather than official campaigns. Donald Trump eschews major PAC help, while Gingrich and Santorum benefited early from outside funds to sustain campaigns through key states.

Truck blocks entrance to US land amid Oregon standoff

Authorities monitor without action, while observers note potential bias in responses and fear of emboldening similar protests.
