A man was found wounded outside Lockport police headquarters around 1 30 a m after an officer heard gunshots. He was taken to Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo for treatment. condition not released.

Oswego Health welcomed its first baby of the year Marcey Jean Grace Krom born at 12 19 am on New Year’s Day. She weighed six pounds 11 ounces and measured 20 inches. Parents are Justin Krom and Kayo Grace of Orwell. Dawn Smith presented gifts on behalf of Oswego Health Auxiliary. The maternity center features private rooms with baths and the latest technology, plus a new C section recovery room. In 2016 the center earned NYSPQC recognition for obstetric care.
