Oswego County to replace Caughdenoy Creek bridge in Hastings
Oswego County plans a $250000 replacement of the Route 12 bridge over Caughdenoy Creek in Hastings this summer after approval by the County Legislature Infrastructure Committee. The open steel beam design with sheet piling will replace the scour threatened concrete supports and construction should run through summer, with coordination around school schedules. A separate $860000 equipment transfer was tabled to allow county time to decide on needed snowplows and related gear amid energy plant concerns.
