Oswego counseling program earns CACREP accreditation
SUNY Oswego’s clinical mental health counseling master’s program earned CACREP accreditation after a three year self study and a fall site visit. The 60 credit hour program now expands graduates’ job prospects and licensing options nationwide while emphasizing experiential learning and strong faculty involvement. Students gain practicum and internship placements through area sites such as Child Advocacy Center Cayuga Counseling Services and Crouse Hospital and can pursue certificates in play therapy trauma studies and school counseling.
