Nurse Sharon Ellis Celebrates 30 Years With NOCHSI
In a recent NOCHSI annual gathering, nurse practitioner Sharon Ellis was honored for 30 years with Northern Oswego County Health Services Inc. Ellis began as a registered nurse in 1986, later earning a family nurse practitioner certificate and serving in school based health centers at Lura Sharp Elementary and Sandy Creek Central School. Her career spans ICU CCU ER infection control and nursing supervision before joining the nurse practitioner role under Drs. Jay and Pat Chapman. NOCHSI notes the Kathy Ellis Scholarship Fund supports education in nursing. Dr. Patrick Carguello praised Ellis for improving care for Oswego County residents especially school children, while CEO Daniel Dey highlighted her quiet, dedicated service and professional advancement.
