Joseph G. Cernaro, 59, of Winthrop Mass died December 27 2015 at Sawtelle House Reading Massachusetts surrounded by family. Born in Oswego he worked 27 years with United Airlines in Syracuse and Boston. He is survived by wife Yvonne and daughters Lauren and Emily, siblings and many nieces and nephews. Funeral 10 a.m. Saturday at St Stephen Church Oswego burial St Peters Cemetery. Visitation 4 7 p.m. Friday at Nelson Funeral Home Oswego.

Survived by sons James Monroe of Charlotte NC and Cory Monroe of Hastings NY, sister Judith Tonkin of Charlotte NC, companion Ron Forehand of Oswego Town, three grandchildren Emma Grace and Jack Monroe, and niece Christine Tonkin. Predeceased by husband Ronald Monroe in 1996. Services held 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church Minetto, spring burial Oswego Town Rural Cemetery. Benjamin F. Doran, 83, of Orovada, Nevada, formerly of Oswego and Millville, New Jersey, died Sunday December 27 2015. He was a Korean War veteran and survived by three daughters, eight grandchildren and multiple relatives. He was interred privately with burial later at New Haven Cemetery with military honors.
