Oswego State Eyes Nor ctown Norwich Tournament Challenge
Oswego State men s hockey team prepares for two back to back weekends of high level play starting with the Norwich University Holiday Tournament in Northfield Vermont. The Lakers (10 1) face Williams College in a semifinal at 4 p.m. today with Norwich or Nazareth to follow, then host their own Pathfinder Bank Oswego State Hockey Classic next weekend featuring No 6 Wisconsin Eau Claire and a date with Utica or Curry. Head coach Ed Gosek notes the back to back format mimics NCAA tournament pressure as the team battles illness and seeks to rebound from a 5 1 loss at Buffalo State. Senior goalie Matt Zawadzki will start today with rotation likely across both tournaments. Leading scorers include Hulshof Batten Neil Galati Johnson and others as the squad aims to maintain a high octane offense.
