PATH program benefits from Oswego County Realtors fundraiser

PATH a transitional living program for homeless youth ages 16 to 21, received substantial fundraising support from the Oswego County Board of Realtors and its merger with the Greater Syracuse Association of Realtors. The funds help expand PATH's 24 hour supervised residence and bolster services as PATH marks 26 years of operation.

Hannibal mulls water district expansion plan

Hannibal Town Board approved funds for an environmental and engineering review that could extend municipal water service in the town. Supervisor Ron Greenleaf said work could cover most of County Route 7 and include Route 3 residents, with an estimated $8 to $10 million cost. Funding may come from a Rural Development loan under 2 percent interest, with possible grants and an eventual referendum for voters in the district. Preliminary work remains four months out, and engineering costs of $8,000 have already been approved with the firm C2AE.
