Once a Oswego Rotary member, he now serves Fulton and highlighted local soup kitchens, food pantries, youth homework help, disaster services, housing, rehabilitation, senior programs, and wider outreach. Scriba Hikes Water and Sewer Rates to Fund Plan
The Scriba town board approved a 3 percent water rate hike and a 10 percent sewer increase effective Jan 1 to cover operations costs and a $100,000 deficit. Oswego man charged with burglary
Oswego Police charged Ronald R. Zwick, 31, with burglary and related felonies after he allegedly broke into a home with an active order of protection, threatened the resident with a hammer, and damaged the door. Police said he was observed in the yard near the stay away order and admitted pushing the door, causing the lock to break.

Hannibal board sets hearings on zoning changes
Hannibal Town Board will form a five person committee to review zoning laws and hold two public hearings in January. The hearings address a possible ban on hydraulic fracturing and proposed zoning updates including solar systems, manufactured home foundations, and removing gravel pad wording to meet state standards. Public hearing at 7:45 p.m. January 20 follows a 7:30 p.m. session on the frac ban. Greenleaf noted Water Service Area 4’s early closing planned for January 12 to save about $2000 in interest.
