Syracuse man faces 10 criminal charges after police chase
Syracuse man Darren R. Sampson, 30, of 301 Tioga St., is charged with ten criminal counts after a police chase that began in Clay and ended in Fulton. State police say he stole a silver Volkswagen Passat, fled an attempted stop, and evaded a tire deflation device before colliding with another vehicle. Methamphetamine was found in the car, and Sampson faces multiple felony and misdemeanor counts, arraigned in Volney Town Court and remanded in Oswego County Jail. He is due back in court January 8.
