Phoenix to receive state aid for wastewater upgrades

The village of Phoenix in Oswego County will get up to 6 million in state aid from a 440 million New York water investment announced by Gov. Cuomo. The package includes a 1.59 million grant and a 4.78 million loan to fund sanitary sewer improvements and water quality upgrades along the Oswego River as the village transitions from wells to the Metropolitan Water Board.

Pathfinder Bank funds SUNY Oswego scholarship for students in need

Pathfinder Bank grants $30,000 to endow the Pathfinder Bank Opportunities Scholarship at SUNY Oswego. The $25,000 endowment will fund $1,000 awards for up to five years to financially needy undergraduates with at least 12 credits, a 2.8 GPA, and essays on overcoming adversity or contributing to campus diversity. Applications open through the SUNY Oswego Alumni Relations and University Development office.
