Neighborhood hub opens in North Waco house to foster trust
Baylor professor-led Good Neighbor Settlement House in Sanger Heights renovates a 100 year old day care into a nonprofit home offering four rooms for meetups and high speed Wi Fi. Volunteers live in the main house and a cottage behind to run programs funded by donations. The goal is to connect diverse neighbors, support classes and gatherings, and boost community ties without charging for space.
