Assault report at SUNY Oswego campus
SUNY Oswego alerted staff and students at 4 p.m. of a potentially armed suspect in a residence hall. At about 5:30 p.m. Eric DeBrose, not a student, threatened a resident at knifepoint in Seneca Hall for roughly four hours, escaped around 3:15 p.m., and remained at large. DeBrose is a New York City area resident, about 6 feet tall and 190 pounds. Oswego County sheriff, Oswego city police, and state police assisted campus police in locating him.

Phoenix teen indicted in Hannibal party stabbing
Markee L. Cathcart a 19 year old from Phoenix was indicted on second degree manslaughter and second degree assault charges for the October 24 fatal stabbing during a party altercation in Hannibal. Witness accounts described a fight with a knifed confrontation but no direct stabbing witness. Cathcart allegedly said Leonard instigated the fight before the incident.

Gouverneur woman charged after 40 grams cocaine found
Gouverneur resident Kayla N Dagostino 22 was charged on multiple felony drug counts after parish Oswego County Drug Task Force searched her vehicle on Interstate 81 at 1115 p m Friday. Police say the cocaine was intended for sale.
