Joy of Christmas concert in Minetto set for Sunday
The Minetto United Methodist Church hosts its 25th Joy of Christmas Concert at 4 p m Sunday featuring 90 musicians and four groups Sounds of Brass Continuity New Horizons Chorus and New Horizons Band under leader Frank Bickel. Funds raised from a village ornament series support building maintenance. A clothes collection shed is in the church parking lot for donations.

Oswego YMCA to offer self defense class
The Oswego YMCA will host a two and a half hour self defense course on January 21 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. taught by Armoured One Tactical. The program covers awareness risk reduction and avoidance and hands on defense training to help participants predict identify and avoid violence and assess risk.
