PVM Students Help Draw Lifesavers Through Blood Drive
At Paul V. Moore High School Central Square the student government and the American Red Cross organized a fall blood drive with over 70 teachers and students. Donors received breakfast and many were first time contributors. The group plans a spring event on March 3 and emphasizes community impact.

Woman sues doctor over cellphone during varicose vein surgery
Mary Edwards of Port Chester filed a state Supreme Court suit in White Plains against Dr. Eric Fishman and Westmed Medical Group alleging the surgeon used a cellphone to take a Spanish proficiency test during a 2017 varicose vein procedure. Edwards says she was terrified and the company declined to comment.
