Oswego County deputies charged Rodney McCormick Sr., 46, of Oswego, with seven counts of first degree sexual abuse and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child after alleged sexual contact in November with a victim younger than 13 at a Scriba residence. He was arraigned in Scriba Town Court, remanded in lieu of bail, and set to return Dec 28.
Judith Clark, once linked to the Weather Underground, loses another parole appeal for the 1981 Brinks armored car robbery in suburban New York. She has served 36 years of a 75 years to life sentence, with Cuomo’s December commutation making her eligible for parole. Her team notes rehabilitation efforts and inmate tutoring. Clark may seek parole again in 2019.
Zelko Kirincich, executive director of the Port of Oswego Authority, resigned after a state inspector general investigation. The port issued a terse release stating the resignation occurred that morning, with no details on the investigation. Investigators seized his phone and computer on August 30, and board members declined to discuss the matter beyond the release.
