Exelon to test public alarm sirens near Oswego plants
Exelon Generation will run a bi annual full volume test of emergency warning sirens on Tuesday at 1 pm local time. The three minute exercise covers the 10 mile Emergency Planning Zone around Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station and James A. FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant with additional single siren tests throughout the day. Citizens are advised to tune to EAS stations for information if an emergency occurs.
