Oswego Rotary rejuvenates Breitbeck Park playground
Oswego Rotary Club members and AmeriCorps volunteers spent Saturday at Breitbeck Park repairing the children's playground. They replaced perimeter timbers painted and stained structures and refreshed the ground covering with help from the City Parks and Recreation Department.

Fulton man sentenced to state prison on drug charge
Fulton man William J. Paternoster 56 of 404 Erie St Fulton pled guilty to third degree attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance after facing multiple class B felony counts. He received 44 years in state prison. Investigators tied the case to co defendant Helen Holbrook Mace 53 of Fulton who pleaded guilty to fourth degree attempted possession. Police seized about 28 grams of cocaine in Holbrook Mace s vehicle and nearly 4 grams from Paternoster s residence along with scales and packaging materials valued at more than 3200 dollars.
