Fan made Star Trek sets open as NY tourist draw
In Ticonderoga, New York, fans built replica sets from the 1960s Star Trek series including Kirk’s bridge and the engine room for an internet film project. The attraction, licensed by CBS, now welcomes paying visitors, with adult tickets at 22.50, hoping to boost Adirondack tourism while reminiscing about a hopeful future.
