Officials puzzle over Cahill building fees and transfer
County and city officials remain divided over waiving late fees and interest on the Cahill building tax bill. Legislator Amy Tresidder faults the city’s handling while the Loan Review Board moved to pay taxes in full, including penalties, to secure the deed transfer. Vanouse defends the process and notes funds come from the revolving loan account, not taxpayer dollars, as officials discuss possible fee waivers.
