Oswego State track and field posted top marks at Cortland Classic. Ben Griffin won the 1500 meters in 3:55.58 to set a school record, with Timothy Olmsted sixth in 4:05.42. Adam Crumb long jumped 7.07 meters for another school record, and Alex Cepeda ran 50.48 in the 400. Colin Greenseich finished 2nd in the 10,000 in 31:51.11. On the women’s side DeAnna Newman placed 2nd in javelin, Catarina Burke 4th in high jump, Morgan Brenner 8th in 5000, Tylea McCarthy-Walker 3rd in triple and long jumps.

Oswego State swept its third straight SUNYAC doubleheader against New Paltz on Senior Day. Nesci slammed a grand slam in game one, finishing with six RBIs, while Lyman and Roe each had multiple hits. In game two Roe earned the win with 4.1 scoreless innings and Wilcher notched a save as Oswego State won 5 1. The Lakers improve to 9-3 SUNYAC, 13-13 overall, and sit second in the standings.
Oswego State, ranked 12th, swept the fourth-ranked Cortland Red Dragons 8-5 and 5-3 to claim sole possession of first place in the SUNY Athletic Conference. The Lakers rallied for a 8-5 win with four homers and a six-run fifth, then exploded in the seventh for a 5-3 victory with Dellicarri and Hamilton delivering key hits.
Cortland surged to a 16-6 win over Oswego State as Makenzie Annable led with four goals and Kristen Ohberg added four assists. Oswego State was led by Teresa Shattuck who scored twice with three assists, while Angela Ponto made 19 saves in goal. Cortland outshot 44-19 and built a 7-2 lead by halftime, with Cortland atop the SUNYAC standings alongside Brockport and two games remaining.
