Oswego lecture marks Civil War via war correspondent
Oswego County Historical Society will host a 1 30 p m lecture on April 26 at the Richardson Bates House Museum 135 E Third St Oswego. Guest speaker Rick Sivers will present With Pen and Sword and open a Civil War exhibit highlighting Abraham Lincoln's death and the war's end. The exhibit compiles Bradway letters from 1861 1863, detailing Missouri campaigns from Oswego native Captain George Bradway who died Jan 10 1863 at Hartsville. Bradway is Sivers great great uncle.
