Cayuga students win SUNY Chancellor's Award for Excellence
Two Cayuga Community College sophomores Glyn Davenport and Mitchell Phillips received the 2018 Chancellor's Award for Student Excellence at a Albany ceremony. The pair were commended for strong academic records and extensive campus and community involvement.

Jessica Westberry joins Oswego CAC staff as outreach advocate
Jessica Westberry has been chosen as Outreach and Prevention Advocate for the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County. She will oversee Darkness to Light Stewards of Children training and serve as Safe Harbour coordinator, coordinating meetings, trainings, data review, and service maps to combat child exploitation and trafficking in Oswego County.

Pulaski students tour Lockheed Martin Syracuse facility
Pulaski High School students toured Lockheed Martin in Syracuse to learn about engineering. They completed a team building exercise titled Lost at Sea ranking 14 lifeboat items, compared to Coast Guard rankings, heard about engineer roles, viewed radar systems and an echo chamber, toured a testing facility, and built an egg drop package that survived a six foot drop.
