Page High School announces the fifth six weeks honor roll with A and B divisions. A Honor Roll requires a 1.5 average and at least 2 in every grade. B Honor Roll needs 2.5 average and at least 3 in each subject. Names of seniors to freshmen across grades listed. Early Settlers Severino Family Leaves Page for Las Vegas Jewelry Store
Mr and Mrs Ernest Severino and their son Mike are moving from Page to Las Vegas Nevada to operate a jewelry store. They arrived in Page when it was mostly bare and later opened in the green building shopping row across from Windy Mesa. Jack and Marjorie Doland buy most Severino stock and promise a similar jewelry line at their new shop.

A De Havilland 125G twin jet demonstrator tested ground facilities at Glen Canyon Airport in Page. The airfield features a 4500 ft landing strip built in 1958 by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation to aid dam construction and a 2200 ft cross strip, with views over Lake Powell, Glen Canyon Dam, the Colorado River, Lees Ferry, and the canyon scenery.
