Page High School Musicians Shine At Flagstaff Festival
Page High School Band and Chorus earned praise at the Mus ic Festival in Flagstaff April 2 and 3. Band Excellent, Brass Ensemble Good, Mixed Choir Good, Girls Glee Club Excellent and Good, Madrigal Excellent, Girls Trio Good. Individual ratings include Susie Enneking alto good, Susie Morris excellent, Pat Bowling baritone superior, Mike Glass flute excellent, Jim Glass French horn superb, Mike Woods trombone excellent, Charles Reinhold trumpet excellent. Congratulations to participants and instructor Mr. Tracy Hansen.

The Sand Devils beat Kanab High 16 to 12 in Kanab last week. Pitchers Doland Hall, catcher Geer, win credited to Doland. Ar thur Hall Wally DeWitt and Jack Keisling hit home runs. Muddy Kanab field and no pitching mound hampered play. Mingus baseball and track meets were rained out.

Marie Galliard presided the annual City Association of Women Bowlers meeting at her home March 31 with 39 members. New officers elected for 1965-66: Marge Brewster president, Blanche Harding VP, Beverly Cahalan secretary-treasurer, Barbara Whisler sergeant at arms. Page Park team triumphed in City Tournament. Thelma Roberson, Lil Read, and Marge Brewster noted for top honors. Desert Belles League standings, high games and series listed. Lil Read led with 190, Rita Harris 529. Lil Read and Irene Wolkow elected to officer roles for 65-66.
