Daxarey Coun. Sept II George W. Wallace and George A. Wallick were arraigned for trial after weeks of burglary. They pleaded guilty and received twelve year sentences each. Wallace reacted violently, leaping from his seat and kicking his chair before being restrained.
Heavy rain caused Pandy and Bennetts creeks to rise overflowing banks and submerging south and west sections of Canisteo village. The Canisteo river floods the north end, forcing residents to climb to second stories. Erie line blocked and commerce halted as Hornersville and downstream towns flood with widespread damage feared.
