GE Still Caught In Use Near Oxford Raid

Tuesday morning United States Deputy Marshal C E Sisk with deputies raided a 25 gallon still at J C Tarver's place ten miles southeast of Oxford. Doll Townsend was present at the still and firing it up. Tarver was arrested with the man and both bond. About 200 gallons of beer mash and whisky were destroyed. The still was brought to the Federal building for public viewing.

Messrs. Wilson and F T Price have purchased Baugh's Garage in Moorhead and will run Moor head Motor Company a local garage and auto business. Oxford High Wins Game Over Water Valley 12-0

Oxford High defeated Water Valley 12 to 0 in a surprise rout. The speed of Oxford backs plus a solid line led to a swift first touchdown within a minute. Key players included John Falkner, Virgil Metis, Elliot, McDaniels, and Rusty Patterson.

Captured Still Reported in Warshall County and Club Prizes Listed

A still near Waterford was seized by C E Sisk and officers Boykin LaRue and Walter Thompson. They stopped to assist a stuck car, uncovered 116 quarts of whiskey from Cairo, and arrested the car, liquor, and driver.
