New Creamery Branch Planned for Oxford
At a Chamber of Commerce meeting Tue sday night plans were made to house a Madison County Creamery Co. branch in Oxford. The firm will buy cream directly from producers, pay cash, and operate a refrigerating station storing butter and ice cream of top quality to meet local demand. The warehouse near the railroad station will host the operation, signaling a possible full Lafayette County creamery.

Correction on Landon Andrews Property Purchase
A letter from Mrs. Wilkins corrects a recent Eagle item about Hon. Landon Andrews buying the Falkner home on South Street. The note states he purchased Duff Ragland’s small house on South Street, not the Falkner residence, and that it is being remodeled.
