In Macon Georgia on March 20 Charlies B Guyer a white man pled guilty to violating War department rules against houses near soldiers camps. He was fined 500 dollars and sentenced to one year in federal prison but Judge Speer suspended the prison term pending no further offense and allowed payment of the fine to secure freedom.
