Presbyterians raise 2 million for Christian education plan
An official tally confirms the $2,000,000 goal for Christian education across Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee has been subscribed. Funds will move Southwestern University from Clarksville to Memphis as Southwestern College, with ground to be broken this summer and classes starting September 1923. Clarksville will host the 1922-23 session with limited Memphis admission in 1923.
