Mississippi to revise school textbooks in five year cycle
Jackson, June 1. The uniform textbook commission began revising Mississippi schoolbooks, aiming to choose texts for the next five years. Over 50 publishers sent reps as state superintendent W F Bond cited past laws that limited changes to 25 percent of texts, hampering public schools.
