Candidates Speak in Ripley Campaign Trail
Candidates for Congress spoke in Ripley Monday except Judge Mahon with a strong crowd. They plan talks at Moore's Mill and Dumas and then move to other counties. A. C. Anderson drew applause with a boast of county support and paying for a split election, while Dr. Lowrey urged not to let one county decide the district race. The tone remained cordial with no mudslinging. Also notes Lafayette County Sunday School reports and Rev R L Loyd of Russellville visiting New Prospect with his family.
