In Lafayette County chancery court a special commissioner will sell by public auction on April 7 1919 the southeast quarter of Section Four with 40 acres excluded and the southwest quarter of Section Three with 10 acres excluded both in Township Eight Range Three West with upset bid of at least 2500 dollars. Hon Fielder Webster Dies at 74 in Lafayette County

Hon Fielder Webster, Confederate veteran and longtime Mississippi legislator, died at his Depot street home on Saturday morning at age 74. He served in the Legislature from 1881 to 1889 and settled near College Hill about 60 years ago. Survived by his widow Elizabeth Maxie and fifteen children, including Emma Bailey and Herman Webster. funeral held at 2:30 p.m. with Masonic honors at St. Peter's cemetery.
