Chronic fatigue treatments show promise yet flawed research
A JAM A review of 44 studies from 1986 to last year finds behavior based therapies including exercise most effective though data remain deficient. Experts urge better coordinated research to clarify causes and treatments for the chronic fatigue syndrome affecting about 800,000 U.S. adults, with women and minorities disproportionately affected.
