Wall Street edges higher in moderate trading
Wall Street prices moved higher in moderate trading in what analysts called a technical advance. The Dow Jones industrial average rose 2.49 to 947.85 at noon as American Telephone gained to 46 percent, while AT&T warrants advanced to 65. The Fed noted industrial production's sharp rise, the strongest since April, and analysts said the upturn depends on volume and potential rally momentum.
