Teen charged in Kansas abortion case faces deportation
Macomb County prosecutor Carl Marlinga says he will proceed with the criminal case against a 17-year-old accused of impregnating his 12-year-old sister. A plea bargain may not prevent deportation to India, he notes. The girl was about 29 weeks pregnant when she had a late-term abortion in Kansas. Michigan bans abortions after 24 weeks.
