Pueblo Snooping Plan with Soviet Ships Revealed
A declassified U.S. document shows the USS Pueblo was ordered to visually inspect and photograph Soviet naval vessels near Japan as a follow up to North Korea surveillance. The plan, code named Idiythmic One, would have put Pueblo 13 to 60 miles offshore along the Korean coast, but the North Korean capture on Jan 23 halted the mission.

Music in car study links tunes to driver actions
Kansas State University engineer Stephan Konz led a Driveometer trial with two drivers on an 11.6 mile route from Manhattan to Ogden. Test runs showed upbeat Tijuana Brass prompted more steering and acceleration, while slow or no music led to straighter paths but more lane drift. Results say music influences driving slightly, but whether it improves or worsens safety remains undetermined.
