Braves soccer tops Sterling in 10th win of season
The Ottawa University Braves men and women both beat Sterling at Peoples Bank Field. Keaton Heather opened scoring in the 42nd minute, Joe Fitch added a second, and Kyler Grimes Hopkins finished with a late third as the men improved to 10-5 overall and 5-1 in conference. Erin Stengel posted her seventh shutout with two saves. The women won 2-0 with Morgan Trapp scoring early and Laura Whitney heading in a late goal off Kallie Binder’s corner. Ottawa hosts Tabor next, with the women at 6 p.m. and the men following at 8 p.m.
