Wellsville Eagles eye 3A state cross country title run
Wellsville High School is positioned for a 3A state cross country bid after dominating the Pioneer League and regional races. Coach Tim Savage notes a balanced mix of experienced runners and younger talent as seven runners aim to break 19 minutes at Rim Rock Farm in Lawrence. Seniors Meyer Calderwood and Myers have been key stalwarts as the Eagles seek to extend a state qualification streak to five straight years.
