Graveside services tomorrow at 1 p m Highland cemetery with Rev William Luce. Mrs Ida L McCollum 83 of 1804 Pecan St died yesterday at 2 a m in nursing home. Survived by daughter Mrs Faye Lyman son Ray McCollum two brothers eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral tomorrow 2 p m at Towner's Funeral Chapel with Rev Jonathan Harrell. Interment Hope cemetery. In hospital note: Mrs Charles F Walker route 2 hospitalized at St Luke's Kansas City for possible surgery.

The city of Ottawa Kansas approves grading guttering curbing and paving Elm Street from Seventh to Ninth Street including intersections. Construction calls for steel reinforced Portland cement concrete about 6 inches thick and 25 feet wide on a 4 inch native sand base with curbs inlets and drainage facilities.
