The Kansas Public Television Board recommended about 802310 dollars for next fiscal year's base funding to four stations KTWU Topeka KTPS Wichita KCPT Kansas City and KOOD Bunker Hill plus 199310 for KTWU translators to extend service to Pittsburg Independence Emporia and surrounding areas The board also urged exploring options for the Bunker Hill station amid ongoing deficits and declined to fund public radio at this time.
