Cyclist targets goat head weed on Ottawa trail
Jarred Jones and family were biked on Prairie Spirit Trail State Park when goat head weed punctured tires. Jones spent about 400 dollars on Kevlar tires and urged Kansas officials to place the weed on the noxious list. Weed specialist Scott Marsh notes its tires, shoes and roots, and calls for local control tactics.
