West Franklin FFA students barred from fair show
Angelle Higbie, West Franklin High School agriculture teacher, revealed the Franklin County Fair Board decided in August to bar FFA members from showing and exhibiting projects at the 2014 fair. She learned of the move from a fellow adviser and sought an explanation from board president Justin Webb. The concern cited involved students selling in two counties as West Franklin sits in a floating district overlapping Osage County, allowing cross‑county 4‑H and FFA involvement.
