The Eureka chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will dedicate a plaque tomorrow marking the site of Fort Montgomery. The fort, built during the Civil War era by Indians, stood about two years before its closure.

Deaths of Kenneth Neal 24 in Auburn car crash
Mr and Mrs E E Neal and Mr and Mrs Lloyd Neal of Williamsburg returned from Auburn Alabama where they attended the funeral of Kenneth Neal aged 24. He was grandson of the Neals and nephew of Lloyd Neal and son of Dr and Mrs J H Neal. The funeral was held Wednesday. Neal was a senior at Alabama State College in Auburn. Mrs Lester Davidson of Ottawa is an aunt.
