Events include Ottawa University’s Yule Feaste marking its 25th year, a Christmas parade on December 5, Ransom Memorial Hospital Auxiliary homes tour on December 6, Christmas in the Cabin on Friday and Saturday, and the Christmas Corner crafts show on Saturday. Pothole on I-35 at K-68 Interchange Damages Vehicles
Kansas Highway Patrol reported ten accident reports and several damaged vehicles after a large pothole on northbound I-35 at the K-68 interchange bridge. One minor injury was noted for Joann Williams of Ottawa. Crews began repairs amid rain. detours were in place as they planned to fill the hole with asphalt and possibly seal with steel plates.
