Lewis and Clark letter fuels Lewis death dispute

A newly surfaced Oct 28 1809 letter by explorer William Clark questions Meriwether Lewis's death. Clark suggests his partner could have taken his own life, a view noted by James Holmberg of the Filson Club. Lewis and Clark explored the Northwest from 1804 to 1806.
