Death of Mrs. Sarah Lidikay in Wellsville area
Mrs. Sarah Frances Lidikay, 83, longtime Wellsville area resident, died last night in Pratt. Born July 10, 1872, she leaves a son who is Pratt school superintendent. Funeral services are set for Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Wellsville Methodist Church with Rev. Paul Leslie officiating. Interment will follow in Wellsville Cemetery.

More Federal Employes Added In August Increase

Menninger Receives Rockefeller Grant for Mental Health Division
The Menninger Foundation has received a $105,000 grant from the Rockefeller Brothers Fund to establish a division of industrial mental health. Dr. William C. Menninger said recruiting staff will be the first step in building the new division as the fund has been surveying industry mental health issues since early 1954.

Tribesmen Stage Guerilla Attacks in Atlas Mountains

CHICAGO grains closed weak on the board of trade as demand stayed limited in all pits. Losses reached a cent or more in wheat and corn and over 3 cents in soybeans, while oats fell little and rye sold above prior close at times. Fairly large cash receipts and moisture in the winter wheat belt helped upset markets, with wheat at 2.03 1 4 and soybeans down 3 to 4 percent on Nov contracts. Open interest in wheat futures stood around 78,000,000 bushels.
