Plea entered in racing deaths in Kansas
Ronnie Vannoster 21 of Independence pleaded no contest to vehicular homicide in two deaths from a drag racing crash on a Montgomery County road. Sentencing set for December 22 after charges of aggravated vehicular homicide and leaving the scene were dropped. Dawn Sizemore and Michael Patchett, both 20 from Coffeyville, died in the August 18 incident as the racers attempted to pass a car between Independence and Coffeyville.
