Franklin County Meats Team Places 11th National Judging
The Franklin County Meats Judging Team finished 11th of 20 at the national contest at the American Royal in Kansas City Missouri after earning state first. Members Brian Haight Ryan Higbie Theron Combs and Janna Dunbar were guided by coaches Steven Haight Heath Higbie. They judged pork and beef and identified cuts of lamb beef and pork, giving three sets of reasons per class. Combs placed fourth in beef placings, and the team ranked 10th in total judging.
