Oasis Club Holds Oct Meeting in Louisburg
Thirty six Oasis Club members gathered October 25 at Blair House Restaurant Louisburg. President Snover opened with a prayer as Dorothy Martin Barbara Donart and Cathy Dionne were welcomed Guests later toured Cider Mill and shop ping before Ottawa return. The next business meeting was held today at Westminster Presbyterian Church and a vocal group from Ottawa University was scheduled to perform.

Alumni saxophonist to headline Ottawa High Jazz Band concert
Ottawa High School presents its jazz band with guest soloist Jodie Larkin. Larkin, a 1985 OHS graduate and KU Jazz Band I alumna, will perform at least three pieces in a free 7 p.m. concert in the new gym, alongside several other soloists. Director Brent Wheeler calls the event a long overdue boost for the program.

Navy recovers body of first woman F-14 pilot
